We're excited to share the biggest update to the Arranmore Ferry app yet. Well, the biggest since our last one. It's rolling out now on Android and iOS, and it's all about keeping you in the loop, whether that's a sailing, a ticket or a parcel waiting for you at the office.
Know When Your Parcel's In
No more ringing the office to check. When a package arrives for you, the app sends a notification the moment it's ready to collect, so you can pick it up on your way past the pier.
Everything, In One Place
The new Activity screen keeps track of everything that's happened with your account and the ferry. Tickets you've booked, parcels waiting for you and extra sailings added to the timetable all land in one feed, newest first. If you missed a notification, it's still there when you open the app.
Pay For Reserved Tickets
Booked over the phone? You can now pay for a reserved ticket straight from the app. Open Tickets, tap Pay Now, and your ticket is paid and saved to your device before you get to the pier. Less time queuing, more time for a cup of tea before you board.
Don't Miss A Sailing
All of this works best with notifications switched on. The app tells you about changes to the ferry, like an extra sailing being added, and about the things that happen on your own account, like a parcel arriving or a ticket being booked.
If you said no to notifications the first time round, it's worth turning them on now. Tap Turn On Notifications in the app and you're sorted.
Update Now
To get the best out of the Arranmore Ferry app:
- Download or update the app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Switch on notifications when the app asks, so you hear about parcels and sailing changes as they happen.
- Check Activity any time to catch up on what you've missed.
